Sixty Works of Art

I read about someone who wanted to make fifty pieces of art for her fiftieth birthday. So...I decided to try to do sixty pieces of art. The Altered postcard is about number twenty. I have a whole scrapbook on I Photo of ones I have finished. I will down load the tinnies I am working on now.

The tinnies are such satisfying pieces. I think I like the physical work of the tinnies and the metal as much as the decoration. For the last tinnie I made paper beads to put on the handle.

Here is a picture of my altered book "Collections from the Journey." The first wordless book I did. This was exhibited in South Carolina.

Photoshop

I have been playing with Photoshop and wanted to make a collage. I was inspired by the movie "The Brothers Grimm" where the queen is captured in the mirror and the mirror breaks. Her face is in pieces intermixed with the mirror. I tried this with two pictures and merged them together in pieces. I have even improved it a little, and I will upload another version.
I feel like my art has really improved just recently. Maybe the positive feed back from IEAS??? And I am in my Picasso phase according to Lynn!
